      FUND FOR THEOLOGICAL EDUCATION

Godman Soteria Academy of Theology is into ecumenical advocacy for excellence and diversity in Christian ministry and theological scholarship. Our work supports the next generation of leaders among pastors and scholars.

We provide fellowships and a network of support to gifted young people from all denominations and racial/ethnic backgrounds—encouraging those with gifts for leadership to consider vocations in ministry and teaching and nurturing them in their exploration and study.

Godman Soteria Academy of Theology is a non-profit ministry that focuses on identifying and investing in the advanced theological education of gifted Christian leaders in the entire body of Christ in Africa and by extension the whole world.

We are specifically focusing on helping those men and women who have already been identified as leaders and will return to positions of senior leadership such as: Executive directors of Christian Organizations; Founders and senior faculty members of Bible Colleges and Seminaries; Presidents of denominations and Authors of desperately needed and culturally relevant theological books.

Godman Soteria Academy of Theology Partners with evangelical African churches and/or ministries for equipping Africans to be missionaries to their own cultures.

Godman Soteria Academy of Theology as a policy, we are making theological education and ministry training available to all because significantly many people have no access to seminary education. Many are hungry for learning Bible, theology and ministry skills.

Some of the challenges facing us today are ,:

      1. How to support these churches.
      2. How do we help them gain affordable access to training and education, while supporting and developing local educators.
      3. How do we support access to theological education and ministry training, without repeating the mistakes of colonialism.

Among other strategies, this will involve investing in strong local theological education. As we are building capacity and nurture local educators, we also train and equip local pastors, evangelists, theologians, and church planters.
